Baccarat Strategy

     

Although I am much like a preacher or college professor, in that I enjoy long explanations when short ones will suffice, I'm afraid I will not be able to blab too much about baccarat strategy. The reason is that baccarat strategy follows: play the banker's hand. The banker's hand has a smaller vig (house edge) than the player's hand. Player's make no decisions, other than the ones mentioned above, so there is no opportunity for strategy. Of course, like with all such games of chance, there will always be those who buy into phony-baloney schemes and strategies. Hey, look, the hands have not tied 15 times in a row...now is the perfect chance to throw my money away!

Lastly, computer simulations have shown that counting cards does not help in baccarat. Even if it did, it sure would be a daunting task to track the conditions that favor the banker or player in your head.
