Instructions
- Set parameters for a particular set of rules by answering questions on the
left hand side of the applet.(Attempting to use the Hand-By-Hand analysis feature
first will cause errors.)
- Click the CalculateBS button, located at the bottom left of the applet.
- After a few seconds a new window will appear with detailed blackjack strategy for
the particular set of rules entered.
- To save the strategy chart, choose File->Save As from your browser window.
Hand-By-Hand Analysis
- After calculating basic strategy, choose the dealer's up card from the
drop down list on the right-hand side of the applet labeled "SELECT UPCARD".
- Select the player's hand by choosing valid combinations of as many as 5 cards
from the "Set Player Hand" drop down boxes.
- Hands that total more than 21 are not valid.(Choosing 5 of a kind
in a single deck game is not valid either.)
- The results are displayed in the "EXPECTED VALUE" text boxes.The best
choice is the highest value (-20 is higher than - 40).
- These results do not consider the count.
