Let It Ride

     

Let it Ride has three spots for wagers. A bettor makes three equal bet on each of the three spots prior to the deal. 

Each player is then dealt three cards and two community cards are dealt face down. Each player then decides if they want to pull back one of their bets. The dealer then turns over one of the two cards and all the players get a chance to pull back another bet.

After the second round, the other community card is revealed and the winning bets are paid. Payout for each bet is made according to the following chart: (pay tables my vary)

Royal Flush-    1000:1
Straight Flush-   200:1
40 of a Kind-      50:1
Full House-         11:1
Flush-                   8:1
Straight-               5:1
3 of a Kind-         3:1
Two Pair-            2:1
Tens or better-     1:1

Strategy wise, a player should, of course, "Let it Ride" with any winning hand. On the first  round, the bettor should "Let it Ride" if they have:
3 Royals
3 to a flush, including a straight flush

On the second round, when the dealer has turned over the first card, the player should "Let it Ride" if they have:
4 Royals
4 to a flush, including a straight flush
4 to a straight

There is also a side bet available. Like most side bets, this wager is a sucker bet. For one dollar, the player gets a shot at an additional payout as follows.

Absent the side bet, the house edge on Let it Ride is about 3.5%.
